On October 22-23, 2019, in Hanoi, under the mandate of the Japan Economy, Trade and Industry (METI), Japan Overseas Technical Cooperation Association (AOTS) cooperated with the Bureau chemicals – Ministry of Industry and Trade of Vietnam (VINACHEMIA), with the participation of the Vietnam Chemical Association (CSV), the Vietnam Council for Social Responsibility of Chemical Enterprises (VRCC), organized an in-depth training course. about GHS and Responsible Care. The object of this program is the core technical staff from the chemical management agencies, chemical production and business enterprises, etc.

During the training program , experts from Japan Mr. Mutsuo Wada and Mr. Shigeki Miyachi gave an in-depth introduction to the current GHS, especially how to classify chemical products as “mixtures of two or more chemicals”. different substances”, an issue that many chemical manufacturing and trading enterprises in Vietnam desperately need in international integration.
The knowledge on this issue really caught the attention of Vietnamese practitioners. The students asked many questions, had lively discussions and took class exercises very seriously.
Also in the program , Vietnamese experts : Mr. Do Thanh Bai , PCT VRCC ; Mr. Ngo Quoc Khanh (CECO) presented the code “Prevention of pollution”.

At the end of the two-day training program, the trainees were granted certificates.
