GROUP CONFERENCE OF SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY COUNCIL – VIETNAM CHEMICAL ENTERPRISE (VRCC)
July 11, 2022, in Ho Chi Minh City; VRCC organized the Live and Online Conference , the expert group of the Vietnam Council for Social Responsibility of Chemical Enterprises ( EN of VRCC )
The conference reviewed the activities of the first 6 months of 2022 and the plan of activities for the last 6 months of the year. It highlights the following activities:
1- Training, training
Through the survey, collecting suggestions from businesses, some of the following contents were discussed at the conference:
• Disseminate knowledge on management and prevention of pollution, environmental protection for chemical enterprises.
• Safe transportation of chemicals.
• Respond to chemical incidents in transportation.
• Climate Change and the Role of the Chemical Industry.
• There should be practical tests to guide and support businesses to improve in chemical safety and social responsibility.
• Sharing many good chemical/process safety practices and analyzing incident lessons.
• Simplify training materials. Prepare training materials to make them easier to understand and apply
• In-depth training for each category.
• Annually support chemical safety training for businesses
2- Organizing seminars and training courses:
• Collaborating with Evonik Organize Seminar on Circular Economy
• Coordinate with the American Chemical Society: provide training on chemical security for chemical enterprises. Expected on T 10
• Coordinate with GIZ to provide training on Green Chemistry and Climate Change. Online form
• Send representatives to the RCLG Global Conference in Paris (September)
• Holding meetings with FDI enterprises (October)
• Continue to contribute to the development of circular decrees and other legal documents related to the Law on Chemicals, the Law on Environmental Protection, related to chemical production and business units.
3- Evaluate the activities of VRCC members according to the criteria of RCLG:

The group is responsible for completing the existing report form, applying report building software for all member enterprises to use, and can provide the most necessary data in the evaluation of RC work. convenient time for Consolidating Annual Report.
